You'll see a range of looks with a western bend on TCU gameday. Think ostrich boots, big belt buckles and purple galore: jeans, shirts, jewelry, hats, scarves, gloves, vests and more. You name it, if they can find it in purple, it's fair game.

About TCU in 2014
I love Gary Patterson and what he has going on in Fort Worth. He's honest, unfiltered, expects accountability and doesn't take a bunch of BS. All things I appreciate.
The Horned Frogs enter their third season in the Big 12. They went 4-8 in 2013. Defense is always a strength of a Patterson-coached squad and is expected to be the case this year. Nine defensive starters return to a unit that led the Big 12 in rush defense and finished second overall in the conference last year.
There is one glaring absence: Preseason Defensive Player of the Year DE Devonte Fields. Patterson dismissed him from the team this offseason after an alleged domestic incident. See what I mean about Patterson not taking a bunch of BS?
