With apologies to a certain attorney you see on television all hours of the night, the real hammer is currently serving as the head coach of the Texas football team.

Charlie Strong has suspended and dismissed players for "undisclosed violations" and violating team rules without a second thought. It's a huge departure from what football players have previously experienced in Austin.

When it comes to gameday style, though, anything goes. Really. You will see everything from thrift-shop finds to the latest Chanel collection (which was Texas-inspired, btw) in Austin for a Longhorns game. It all works.

About The 2014 Texas Lonhorns
I personally have low expectations for the Longhorns this year. This will be Coach Strong's mulligan. He'll have the chance to rebuild and fans will accept it. I think. Led by Malcolm Brown and Johnathan Gray, Texas should have a strong running game. I also expect Texas to be tougher, both mentally and physically.

Texas opens the season August 30th against North Texas in Austin. Here is the complete 2014 UT schedule.
